Tahitian Volcanic Black Sand
The Polynesian archipelagos were formed millions of years ago with the emergence of volcanos. Rain and wind leads to the natural erosion process of these volcanos which creates the black sand on some of the beaches of Tahiti. This black sand is then crushed and riddled to obtain perfect granulometry. Lastly, it is ionized to gurantee perfect quality without bacteria. Black Tahitian Sand is an excellent, natural exfoliator.
Using Sucker Punch Before Shaving
Using Sucker Punch before shaving will lift hairs, open up pores and prep the beard. The invigorating formula efficiently exfoliates dead skin cells, creating a smooth canvas to ensure a trouble-free shaving experience.
Why is it important to exfoliate?
Exfoliating unveils fresher, smoother skin. It keeps pores clean and removes oily buildup. It also allows for greater penetration of moisturizers and serums by removing the surface layer of dead skin cells. Sloughing away dead skin cells maintains the look and texture of your skin as you get older. As you age dead skin cells can stick around your skin for up to 6 weeks. Exfoliating removes these dead cells much quicker to reveal healthier, more radiant skin.
How often should I exfoliate with Sucker Punch?
At least once a week but not more than three times a week. If you prefer exfoliating three times a week, follow a schedule like this: Monday, Thursday and Sunday; repeating on the following Wednesday.
When should I exfoliate?
Exfoliate in the morning after you cleanse your face.
How penetrating is Sucker Punch Face Scrub ?
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being very light exfoliation and 10 being deep exfoliation, Sucker Punch ranks about a 7.
Should I use Sucker Punch or LiquidSand Exfoliating Facial Cleanser?
Sucker Punch is best for deep exfoliation and less sensitive skin. If you have dry and/or sensitive skin, use LiquidSand. LiquidSand is more hydrating and may be used every other day.
When should I not exfoliate?
If you have severe acne, do not exfoliate as this can irritate your skin even more.
What should I do following exfoliating?
Always end by applying a moisturizer. This can follow shaving.
"Sucker Punch Face Scrub is ideal for deeper exfoliation, best used a couple of times a week. The combination of citrus oils and Menthol produce an invigorating sensation in the morning."
